Within the contemporary landscape of platform capitalism, Stations operate as sites of collective activism that aim to destabilize the data economy. Through a physical network of shared artifacts, players generate contradictory signals, fragmented behavioral traces, and unstable profiles that contaminate systems of prediction. Rather than pursuing invisibility, the work proposes hyper-visibility as a counterstrategy: overwhelming surveillance systems with unreliable data to erode the predictive value of digital profiling.

“Stations” is a video game installation developed for the 2026 exhibition “Wake Me Up Inside: Digital Sovereignty and Post-Platform Futures”. The game follows a ghostly figure drifting through a blinding, foggy landscape, collecting speculative artifacts whose fictional mechanisms respond to existing systems of tracking, biometric profiling, and algorithmic prediction. Because artifacts circulate through a decentralized physical network and can be combined in unlimited ways, they continuously generate contradictory behavioral traces and fluid profiles too unstable for predictive modeling.
